TO BE ADMITTED TO CAMP “ALL” CAMP PARTICIPANTS AND PEOPLE WISHING TO ATTEND ANY PORTION OF THE CAMP MUST FILL OUT “ALL” LEGAL FORMS PRESENTED TO THEM BY
NFAZ, INC. THIS INCLUDES “ALL” WAIVER FORMS FOR OUTSIDE ACTIVITES. Please fill out Camp Application accordingly!

CAMP PROGRAM WHILE AT CAMP PINE SUMMIT

Doctors Talks: doctors who have a strong knowledge of NF, teaching us the latest news and research going on with NF, will join us at camp. The doctors will also be there for you to answer any of your questions that you have regarding NF.

Regular At Camp Activities: We will have several activities geared for both boys and girls such as arts and crafts, talent show night, getting to know you activities, dances, karaoke, learn to sing, learn to play instruments, hair and make-up day before the last camp dance, and much-much more.

Sports: Horse Back Riding, Archery, Golf, Mini Golf, Rock-Wall, Zip-Line, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Street Hockey, Canoeing, Frisbee Golf, Base Ball, Soccer, Football,
Cosmic Bowling Party, Swimming Party with Water Yoga and Water Aerobics, and much-much more.

Special Instructors and Guests: several special instructors and special guests will join us at camp teaching us aerobics, yoga, water yoga, forms of martial arts, and several different forms of dance including Native American Dance. We will have Lowell’s Observatory join us at camp. Lowell’s will teach us about our solar system and do experiments for/with us. We will also have a chance to look at stars through High Powered Telescopes. Lowell’s Observatory is famous for discovering one of our 9 planets “Pluto”. The NF Camp will also have a chance to get familiar with Arizona’s Desert Animal’s, as Liberty Wildlife one of Arizona’s and the Nation’s premiere Animal Sanctuaries will be bringing Animals to camp to educate us about them. Also the Yellow Bird Native American Indian Dancers will join us. They Yellow Bird’s are very famous they are the current world champions in Indian Hoop Dancing and Native American Flute Playing. They Yellow Bird’s will teach us about Native American Life and also teach us to hoop dance.

Making Friends at the Thunderbird, NFAZ INC 2006 NF World Round Up:
NFAZ will also have plenty of time, and activities geared for you just to hang out, relax and make friends while at camp.

Outside the Camp Day Trips: NFAZ has planned a trip to truly one of the 7 wonders of the world, Arizona’s Breath Taking Grand Canyon. We will travel to the Grand Canyon on the historic Grand Canyon Rail Road. While at the Grand Canyon, we will be joined by the Grand Canyon Field Office who will teach us about the Grand Canyon and will even take us on a small hike into the Canyon. Upon our return from the Grand Canyon we will get a chance to relax and visit the historic town of Williams, Arizona that is situated on Route 66. While in Williams we will have time to eat, shop, and take Handsome Carriage Rides on Route 66.

NFAZ’S INC, Camp Statement and Mission: at camp you will learn to challenge your own limits, and you will be able to try several new things. NFAZ promises a fun, safe, and action packed, and therapeutic environment that you will remember for the rest of your life. Through NFAZ’S Resiliency program you will find that you are good enough to do anything you want in life. You will treasure your time at camp for the rest of your life.

Host Family: We will have wonderful host families for you prior to our departure to camp. We will match you with your host family accordingly. While at your host family you will have planned activities with them and all participants attending camp.
